coming out

The diagnose is “talented”, later “depressive”, maybe even “bi-polar” or just “posttraumatic disturbance” and “hyper sensible”? What these ascriptions evoke in a person often escapes their respective doctors – especially if they can’t agree onto which box to put you.

“Coming out” shows a woman peeling herself out of the tree bark, with all the diagnoses being smoke and mirrors in the end. Is she all of that or none of that? In the end it doesn’t matter, she is strong.
